You are welcome to bring your own food and drink to our picnic area. Unfortunately, it is not possible to eat and drink in the exhibitions.

Cloakrooms and lockers are well signposted in the museum. Please do not take any bulky or wet items such as umbrellas, rainwear, rucksacks and carrier bags into the exhibition rooms. These items are better off in the locker or cloakroom (deposit: 1 euro).

Carrier bags larger than DIN A3 (approx. 30 x 42 cm) must also be deposited in the locker.

The service staff are always happy to help with any questions. The Historical Museum of the Palatinate accepts no liability for items handed in or deposited.

There are no steps to get into the museum via the side entrance. If you are standing in front of the museum, it is on the left-hand side. Signs indicate the direction. There is a bell at the side entrance, our staff will be happy to open the door!
