"Cross and crown"
House of God and burial place: Discover the 1,500-year history of the diocese of Speyer, in which the cathedral plays an important role, in our collection exhibition. The exhibition focuses not only on objects from the collections of the cathedral and diocese - the finds from the burial place of the Roman-German emperors and kings - but also on spiritual and secular events of the past 1,000 years.
MEMBERSHIPS
The Cathedral and Diocesan Museum in the Historical Museum of the Palatinate is a member of the Arbeitsgemeinschaft Kirchliche Museen und Schatzkammern. This is an association of museum experts that represents the interests of ecclesiastical museums and treasuries in German-speaking countries.
