"Marilyn Monroe. The Unknown"

More than 300 selected individual items from Marilyn Monroe's original private estate and from her contemporaries were on display. On display were high-quality items of clothing, accessories, care and styling products, props, private letters and film documents as well as photographs. The exhibition was complemented by individual items from international collectors. Visitors to the exhibition immersed themselves in Marilyn Monroe's world and followed the most important stages of her development and life. They encountered special exhibits that bear witness to her life and work as well as her quest for emancipation.

The special exhibition was enriched by a varied accompanying programme. In addition to make-up workshops and lectures, cinema combination events were held in which a Monroe film classic was presented and then the exhibition in Speyer was visited as part of an exclusive guided tour. The highlight of the accompanying programme was the exclusive X Monroe film evening. Public figures, including the Mayor of Speyer, Stefanie Seiler, invited guests to a private Monroe film evening in their own homes.
