There is a lot to discover at dizzying heights. The photo walk with Horst Hamann shows that a single building - in this case the imperial cathedral - is enough to offer us countless vertical motifs and perspectives: If our perception is trained and (re)adjusted. In a compact photo excursion, Hamann shares the experiences that characterise his visual language. In addition to a functioning camera, the only tools he uses are viewing angles, locations, light and shadow and image composition through the art of omission. First impressions of space and architecture are to be sorted in order to achieve photographic results that reach the viewer and remain more than just a "golden shot". Naturally: black and white and vertical!
